Automated determination of reboxetine by high-performance liquid chromatography with column-switching and ultraviolet detection.

2000

A fully automated method including column-switching and isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed for quantitative analysis of the new antidepressant reboxetine, a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. After serum injection into the HPLC system and on-line sample clean-up on a silica C8 (10x4.0 mm I.D.) clean-up column with an eluent consisting of 2.5% acetonitrile in deionized water, the chromatographic separation was performed on an analytical column (Lichrospher CN; 250x4.6 mm I.D.) with an eluent of acetonitrile-aqueous potassium phosphate buffer (0.008 M, pH 6.4) (50:50). The UV detector was set at 273 or 226 nm. The limit of quantification was about 15 ng/ml at…

Automated determination of amisulpride by liquid chromatography with column switching and spectrophotometric detection.

2003

A fully automated chromatographic method including on-line blood serum or plasma clean-up, isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and spectrophotometric detection was developed for quantitative analysis of the new antipsychotic drug amisulpride. After injection of serum or plasma onto the HPLC system and clean-up on a pre-column (10x4.0 mm I.D.) filled with Silica CN 20 micrometer (pore size 10 nm) by an eluent consisting of 8% acetonitrile in deionized water, the chromatographic separation was performed on Lichrospher CN (5 micrometer; 250x4.6 mm I.D.) by an eluent consisting of 50% acetonitrile and 50% aqueous potassium phosphate buffer (0.008 M, pH 6.4). The UV detector …

Screening of ligands for the Ullmann synthesis of electron-rich diaryl ethers

2012

In the search for new ligands for the Ullmann diaryl ether synthesis, permitting the coupling of electron-rich aryl bromides at relatively low temperatures, 56 structurally diverse multidentate ligands were screened in a model system that uses copper iodide in acetonitrile with potassium phosphate as the base. The ligands differed largely in their performance, but no privileged structural class could be identified.

An isocratic high-pressure liquid chromatographic purification method for radioactively labeled deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates.

1976

Abstract A method is described for the rapid purification of radioactively labeled deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates from their spontaneously emerging hydrolysis products deoxyribonucleoside diphosphate, deoxyribonucleoside monophosphate, and deoxyribonucleoside. The separations which are finished within 3 min or less are carried out on a 0.1X5 cm column filled with LiChrosorb-NH2 , using isocratic elution with 0.025 м potassium phosphate, pH 6 .8 , in a high-pressure liquid chromatograph at room temperature and a flow rate of 30 ml · h-1(flow velocity 63.7 cm·min-1).

Exploring Zinc Apatites through Different Synthesis Routes

2013

nclusion of zinc in apatites is not completely understood due to complexes in solution preventing the incorporation or the inclusion of defects. Some work has shown zinc addition by alternative synthesis routes, but the level of incorporation has not been reassessed. This work uses a newly developed approach whereby zinc is included in an amorphous phase and subsequently crystallized. Different phosphate reactants (ammonium, sodium or potassium phosphates) were mixed together with calcium salts (calcium nitrate or calcium acetate) and the pH level adjusted (with ammonia or KOH) to investigate the ease of forming an amorphous phase and the inclusion of zinc. X-ray diffraction revealed that a…
